I was born and educated in Tucson Arizona. After graduation from the University of Arizona (BSBA 1979) (JD 1982), I made the move to Phoenix, where I practiced law at the same firm for 40 years. I have been married to my wife for 38 years and we raised two children.

That may sound boring, but it was not. I had the honor to appear representing clients in Arizona, California, Washington (state and DC), New York, and many places in between. I also began reading science fiction as a teen and, in that way, I have been traveling the universe for over 50 years. There are over 300 sci-fi novels on our bookcase (almost all paperbacks) -- to my wife's mild annoyance. They really do not fit very well at this point. 

I began writing AI Judge after I retired in 2022. There is more to come. I hope you enjoy the journey with me.
